MetLife is in-network at Timber Dental.
All MetLife Dental PPO plans are accepted.
Using Your MetLife Dental Insurance
When you book your appointment with us, online or on the phone, have your dental insurance card ready, including a group number if available. Our team will verify your insurance before you arrive on the day of your appointment.
Is my plan a PPO plan?
Your dental insurance card should have this information available. You can also call your Timber Dental office to verify your insurance plan and coverage, or you may contact your insurance provider directly.
Verification of Benefits
Before your appointment, our team will verify your insurance coverage with MetLife. This helps us provide you with a clear understanding of what your plan covers, any co-pays or deductibles, and what you can expect to pay.
Seamless Claims Process
We handle the claims process for you. After your appointment, we will submit your claims directly to MetLife, ensuring that you receive the maximum allowable benefits. You can focus on your oral health while we take care of the paperwork.
Frequently Asked Questions about Insurance
If you do not have dental insurance, you still have options at Timber Dental. We understand how expensive healthcare bills can get and we want to help our patients get the care they need at prices that work within their budgets. That’s why we offer our in-office Evergreen Dental Savings Plan, tailored to help reduce the expense of your preventive care and to make any treatment you need less costly.
Our Evergreen Dental Savings Plan is an affordable way for anyone to get the treatment they need. Find out more about our Evergreen Dental Savings Plan.
We accept most insurances from most dental insurance providers including Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Metlife, Moda, United, and more. We accept most PPO plans and we will accept out-of-network insurance plans as an out of network provider. We do not accept DHMO, HMO or medicaid/state funded plans.
Call your Timber Dental office (the office you plan to visit next, even if you’ve been to another one before) and tell them you would like to verify your insurance. Give them your dental insurance information (found on your dental insurance card) and they will give you a call back with more information about your coverage and an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs, if any.
To understand what’s covered and not covered, it’s best to reach out to the Timber Dental team to review your plan details. Our team can verify whether your treatment plan is covered by your insurance and if not, they can review your other options with you.
Call your office ASAP to get the new insurance added and to find out if there will be any out-of-pocket expenses, as every plan has different benefits.
If you have any questions about your MetLife Dental coverage or if you would like to schedule an appointment, just give us a ring! Our team is here to help.
