How Full Arch Dental Implants Work

Initial Consultation

At your initial consult you’ll start with a full comprehensive dental exam, followed by your consultation with a dentist about single implants or implant dentures. They’ll determine if you are a candidate for dental implants at Timber Dental and discuss your personalized treatment plan, financing options, and any next steps.

Full Arch Implant Process

The procedure for full arch implants is complex, but thanks to the latest techniques and technology, the new approach to dental implant-based permanent tooth replacement is now a much quicker process.

Healing and Recovery

At Timber Dental, we use 3D cone beam imaging to provide computer guided implant placement for accurate, efficient results. Your new implants can be paired with crowns, bridges, or implant-supported dentures to replace as many teeth as necessary.

Full Arch Dental Implants Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Implants are biocompatible, artificial tooth roots that are anchored inside of your jaw, just like your real teeth. They’re durable enough to support a crown (for single tooth replacement), bridge or denture (for multiple tooth replacement).

Plus, implants last for the rest of your life in the majority of cases. There’s no better investment that you can make when it comes to restoring a healthy bite.

Dental implants are usually made out of titanium or a titanium alloy because it’s biocompatible, which means it’s well-tolerated by the human body and does not cause an adverse immune response. Plus, it’s strong and durable enough to withstand the constant pressure and force of chewing and biting. In some cases, other materials such as zirconia may also be used.

Our Dental Implant Reviews

Would rate this place 10 stars if I could. The dentist is one of my major fears and the whole staff put me at ease as soon as I walked in. From reception, to my Nurse (s/o Mariah), to my main doctor (Dr. Moody), to Bree matching my tooth color for an implant. I cannot write enough positive words for this office. I would recommend it to absolutely everyone. Even when I didn’t have insurance they worked with me on everything, offered payment plans, and overall just wanted to help me in anyway they could. Thank you so much to this whole staff!

-Brad, Timber Dental NE (2022)

I have had the best experience at this location with Dr. Burton. He placed a dental implant in September which has meant plenty of follow-up appointments, and I have felt so respected and cared for at each and every appointment *especially* when I have lots of questions or I’m feeling nervous. Dr. Burton’s expert care feels very personal and genuine. I’m so glad I chose him over going elsewhere for an implant. Today’s appointment was as great as always – big shout-out to the dental assistant Coco (I hope I’m getting her name right!) whose sense of humor made my day and who made an effort to switch up her method on the x-ray to make me feel just a little more comfortable, even though I didn’t ask. Going to the dentist can easily feel stiff & uncomfortable & ‘just business’ – you know what I mean? – but with the care team today I felt like I could relax and be myself and I actually had a GOOD time. Whoever reads these reviews, please pass along my thanks from me and Marsha the implant!
